Yoshio’s classes are a mix of Dharma, Vinyasa & Rocket yoga. The practices are open to all levels, some poses might be challenging but playful. Different variations of forward bends, balances, twists, backbends, inversions and hip openings are offered. The practices will include attempts of handstands, forearm balances, and headstands to get more confident in upside down poses throughout the unique vinyasas.
Props like walls, straps and blocks are used to help students based to their needs and conditions such as in Iyengar Yoga.
Yoshio offers other yogic techniques including chanting, pranayama, deep relaxation and meditation to lead students towards the true goal of yoga.
Yoshio closely worked with Sri Dharma Mittra: traveled and assisted him by demonstrating asana poses and pranayama techniques for Teacher Trainings and workshops for 10+ years. Yoshio was a Senior Mentor for the Dharma Life of a Yogi Teacher Trainings (200H, 500H, 800H, 1000H) in person for 10+ years.
Yoshio started his yoga path in 1998 in Caracas (Venezuela), where he studied Ashtanga, Iyengar and Rocket Yoga. Yoshio moved to New York to meet his Guru Sri Dharma Mittra in 2008, where he still lives, teaches, practices and studies today.
