Workshop Hips, Shoulders and Spine with Mark Kan

The focus of these classes will be on opening the hips, the shoulders and the spine. With the use of some simple but effective props, Mark will give useful techniques on opening these often restricted parts of the body. We will examine key backbending poses in modern yoga, Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana, Urdhva Dhanurasana, Kapotasana and Natarajasana showing useful techniques on opening these often restricted parts of the body and demonstrating how to move creatively in and out of these popular poses and their many variations, concluding with 60 minutes of vinyasa to bring all of what have learnt or attempted together.
