Ingrid Pistolesi

Ingrid began to practice Hatha Yoga in 2002 during her pregnancy and she was immediately enchanted by the power of its beneficial effects both physical and emotional. In 2003 she started to assiduously practice Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga under the guidance of Giovanni Formisano, which soon encouraged her to take up a teaching path. In 2005 she graduated in Milan, at the historic Yoga Institute of Carlo Patrian, unforgettable master with undisputed human and cultural quality, with a thesis on the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Meanwhile, and until 2008, she continued to study and to work with G. Formisano master from whom she received valuable training as a teacher.
From 2009 till 2013 she approached exclusively to the practice and study of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga under the loving guidance of Elena De Martin. The desire to explore and deepen the various schools of Yoga has brought her over the years to know and practice with different teachers like Masterji Vishvanath in Bangalore, Eddie Stern and Sri Dharma Mittra in New York, David Swanson, Sharat Jois, Lino Miele, Simona Brusoni, Pinuccia and Buscaglia Raquel Barros Fischer from each of which she has received valuable elements of growth in both the practical and spiritual side of Yoga.
From 2005 to 2016 she taught Hatha, Vinyasa and Asthanga at Palestre Down Town in Milan, and small groups of private students. Ingrid is convinced that the practice of asanas is to be completed through meditation and therefore, over the years, she has experienced different types of it like Kryia Yoga of Paramahansa Yoganandya, Vipassana Meditation and the Transcendental one. She studied the practice of spiritual and physical healing of Reiki, in which she is Master since 2005.
