MARIA CRISTINA ALTROCCHI
She began practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa in 2007. After years of gym workouts, fitness, and kickboxing, she finally found a discipline that not only focused on strength and endurance but also incorporated elements not typically found in other physical activities, such as stretching and flexibility. She immediately dedicated herself to daily yoga and meditation practice, deepening her knowledge in various styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Kriya Natha. Throughout her pregnancy, she continued her yoga practice, deriving great psychophysical benefits from it. In 2008, she was initiated into the meditative techniques of Kriya Yoga by Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda. In 2013, she graduated from Kriya Yoga Ashram as an instructor in Integral Kriya Yoga, obtaining the Yoga Alliance 200h RYT certification. She began teaching with great intensity to groups, private clients, and within corporate settings, aiming to transmit to her students the power and beauty of this ancient scientific art. In 2018, she achieved the 500h RYT certification with Odaka Yoga. In 2020, she obtained a new certification in Yin Yoga with Dhugal Meachem, and also completed the Yoga Kids program with Odaka.
