Marzia Sgrò

Marzia approaches Yoga in China in 2005 where she lived and worked as an architect for nearly eight years. She was inspired by yoga as a mean to achieve a state of balance between mind and body and to cope with the hectic life of big Chinese cities. In Shanghai and Beijing she practiced with internationally renowned teachers. In 2010 she meets Canadian master Waylon Belding, and explores Vinyasa Flow, a dynamic style that focuses on smooth transition between the various "Asanas "creating a flow of movements and breathing that becomes a real meditation in motion.

Back in Milan she studied Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga with Maestro Giovanni Formisano with whom she obtained a teaching diploma in Hatha Yoga and Rajia RYS 200. Eager to deepen her knowledge of traditional Yoga she has traveled several times to India where she studied with the famous Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher Ajay Kumar and with the master M.V. Chidananda. In 2015 she organized a teacher training course for Canadian master Waylon Belding in Milan, achieving also the Zuddha degree Lotus RYS 200 (http://www.zuddhalotus.com/). During her last stay in India, she met the teacher and guru Vinay Kumar, creator of the Prana Vaishya method and yoga school, with whom she earned her teaching degree in Prana Vaishya (http://www.pranavashya.com/). She currently lives in Milan, where she works as an interior designer for yoga centers and instructor of Hatha / Vinyasa Yoga and Prana Vaishya Yoga.
